I'm never getting bites when using beads in the surf or pier..

Great video! I’m about to head to Florida on vacation and this will help me a lot in getting started with surf fishing! One thing I noticed, I think that knot you used to tie on the coast lock is actually a uni knot and not an improved clinch. Regardless thanks for the all the info, I learned a lot!

Going to PCB in a month and this will be my first solo salt water fishing attempt. I have been back and forth on fishing the pier (with the crowds), the jetties (with the dangerous rocks) or surf fishing. To be honest, I didn’t have much confidence in the surf fishing…until now! i mean from what i saw from that example I mean your really running it onto thick grass wont that still put a lot of stress even on a "high grade plastic"? its not metal so it'll definitely break. speaking of which they should just make it out of carbon fiber which is as light as plastic and almost as tough as steel!

Might be able to use an earplug or part of one as a float, soft and might hold scent also.

What are you using for the axels? It looks like heavy tubing instead of the solid aluminum ones everyone sells. I just got my first set of balloon tires and waiting on second to arrive and need axel ideas.
